Some readers asked us how to get sponsored through Ziki, others wonder about the meaning of these weird Google, MSN or Yahoo! icons on their profile.

1) How to become sponsored with Ziki?

As already shown in previous posts, the only thing to do is to click on the ‘Search engines listing’ icon in the left side menu of your dashboard and authorize us to register your name within Google, MSN or Yahoo!.

2) Why are some users listed on only one search engine while others are registered within all of the three sites?

The answer is rather simple. Everytime you ask us to sponsor your name on Google, MSN and Yahoo! we’ll contact the Marketing teams of these search engines to register your name. The registration procedure takes some time because each case has to be analysed one by one and a decision has to be made for every single name. Sometimes it may happen that the search engine team decides not to take your name in, which depends entirely on the name we suggest and the SE’s internal sponsoring policy. That’s why some of you are lucky and get their names sponsored everywhere and others not.
