We told you last week it would soon be ready. And today, we are really happy to announce that you can now search through the content you gather on your Ziki!
If you publish content on the web you should find this feature pretty useful. Searching through your blog entries, pictures, videos, links, etc is now just a click away. As long as your content is on your Ziki, you can search through it. No more need to log into multiple accounts where you’ve published stuff, just keep it all on your Ziki! It is the single place where you can gather all that matters to you, and easily find again what you need.
Your Ziki is your personal website with your own search engine.
How does it work? Just log into your Ziki, click on “archives” and you’ll see the search box with a drop down menu next to it, allowing you to specify through which type of content you’d like to search (blog posts, photos, videos, links etc). Enter the word(s) or your choice and it will retrieve all matching articles.
Still wondering? Try it out! You’ll see, it’s a very neat and useful feature. And tell us what you think! Next step, you’ll be able to expand your search to your Network or to all Zikis. So hang tight…..more to come

Quite a few of you have told us you couldn’t really tell the difference between “Favorites” and “Network” . So we’ve renamed “Favorites” into “Reading List”, to make it clearer that it’s related to the content you read and recommend, as opposed to your “network”, which is related to the people you know.
Another change is that we’ve merged Blogroll with “Reading List”, given that both refer to the sites you read and recommend.
Therefore your reading list includes both the Zikis you’ve bookmarked and the OPML file you’ve uploaded to your Ziki. Browsing through your reading list is easy. People can choose to display all feeds of your reading list or only those from a specific category (categories which you defined to organize your feeds in your newsreader). They can also subscribe to the feeds of their choice individually, each one being preceded by the orange RSS feed icon.
So we hope you’ll find it clearer. Let us know what you think. Next step is to make it possible to subscribe to a Ziki via email. So hang on, we’ll keep you posted when it’s ready ..:-)

How many online profiles do you have? Probably quite a few, maybe more than you can even remember! So, to make your life easier, we’ve just added a section called “other profiles”, where you can aggregate links to all of your social networking profiles. For example, you may add links to your Myspace, Yahoo, Friendster, Linkedin, Amazon or Ebay profiles.
To add your other online profiles to your Ziki, just log into your Ziki, click on Edit my Ziki and on “Other profiles”.
We’ve added this section so that your Ziki unites all the information that matters to you, and presents it in a organized manner : the content you publish on the web, your contact details, links to your other profiles, a brief description about yourself, your tags.
Your Ziki is your personal website, allowing you to manage your global online identity. You can use it as your single URL, so your friends don’t have to visit multiple websites to stay updated on your digital life.
